The Golden State Warriors are Golden!

The Golden State Warriors, who had been awful pretty much my entire life – minus the Chris Mullen, Timmy Hardaway, Mitch Richmond era – are breaking records right and left. Having won a championship last year, they open the start of this season with a 16-0 record – the best start to a season EVER in NBA history! Facts.

They are so fun to watch and remind me a bit of the Celtics of a few years ago, when the team just gelled (Kevin Garnett, Rajon Rondo, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce under Doc Rivers). My allegiance to the Boston Celtics followed the downturn of that group’s disbanding. Luckily, the home team is bad-ass and I watch all the games at home that my schedule permits.

Look out for the small Warriors lineup of Stephen Curry, Andre Iguodala, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Harrison Barnes.
